About Spa Afrique

Spa Afrique Policies

Our treatments are carefully planned out so as to accommodate our clients’ needs. Often a therapist is booked with one client for several hours. We therefore hope that you will understand how necessary it is for our clients to adhere to the following policies:

  1. Should you wish to change or cancel your appointment, it is essential to provide us with a minimum of a 24hrs notice period, so as to avoid the 50% cancellation fee.
  2. If you have a Spa Afrique voucher and you wish to change or cancel your appointment, it is essential to provide us with a minimum of a 24hrs notice period, so as to avoid forfeiting your voucher.
  3. All vouchers have a 3 month expiry period, if you should wish to extend this for whatever reason, please phone Spa Afrique before the expiry date, to avoid forfeiting the whole voucher.
  4. Please note that all spa packages and courses need to be paid in full and up front, before treatments will commence.
  5. Spa Afrique reserves the right to request a 50% deposit for certain spa bookings or groups. (A 12 hour deposit timeframe is required for groups)
  6. For all first time clients we request you arrive 10 minutes prior to your treatment time, so as to fill in a consultation form.
  7. Should you arrive late, please note that we are only able to complete the treatment in the remaining time available, while the normal treatment fee remains unchanged.
  8. Please where possible, leave any valuables at home. Lockers are provided, however, Spa Afrique takes no responsibility for loss or damage of any personal items.
  9. Please switch off cell phones, Spa Afrique is a quiet facility for people to relax, please respect this.
  10. Spa Afrique is a no smoking facility, and we request that you please respect this.
  11. No children under the age of 18 are permitted to use the spa facilities unless accompanied by an adult.
  12. Spa slippers must be worn at all times, specifically in the wet areas, for safety purposes.
  13. The Spa facilities must be used at your own risk, as Spa Afrique holds no responsibility for injury or loss of life.

General Information

  1. On arrival you will be asked to fill out a general consultation form, making your therapist aware of any medical conditions you may have. This is for your safety.
  2. We are accredited by the SOUTH AFICAN ASSOCIATION OF HEALTH AND SKINCARE PROFESSIONALS (SAAHSP), maintaining a high standard at all times.
  3. Your health is important to us, so to promote continuous hygiene we use disposable items wherever possible.
  4. Spa package clients will be required to bring with them swimwear, open-toed shoes and something to read, we provide the rest.
  5. Changing areas and lockers are provided.
  6. Spa Package & Spafari clients have access to refreshments free of charge throughout the day.
  7. A health breakfast and/or lunch are included in certain Spa Packages. For those clients whose treatments do not include breakfast and/or lunch, and who would like to have breakfast and/or lunch, an additional nominal fee is required.
  8. Spa Afrique accepts cash, all credit and debit cards, bank guaranteed cheques and internet transfers.
  9. Please respect Spa Etiquette during your stay with us, so as to provide an enjoyable experience for all.
